Eye C U Optometrists is based at Wantirna Mall Medical centre in Wantirna, where we provide high-level eye care for the general public using modern diagnostic equipments.

A large proportion of our patients are diabetics, referred by their doctors for diabetic retinopathy screening and other ocular complaints. We also provide domiciliary eye care to nursing homes, retirement villages and corporates.

The Optometrist

Optometrist director, Quyen Ngo [BSc (hons) MA MCOptom], obtained his optometry degree in the UK where he practiced for 13 years as an optometrist in multiple optical companies as well as running his own optical store for 4 years. He also worked as an optometrist in New Zealand for 2 years.

Quyen’s experience covers all aspects of the optical industry, including hospital, private, multi national optical companies, laser clinic and domiciliary work. Being passionate about humanitarian work, he has also worked for charity groups like the ICEE and the Fred Hollows Foundation, in Aboriginal communities in Central and Northern Australia.

Outside of work, Quyen enjoys the outdoors, travelling, water sports and reading.

Quyen is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
